The Isla Experience project was a soulful collaboration between GoWide Studio and one of the most unique eco-retreats in the Philippines. Located in El Nido, Palawan, Isla Experience offers a rare opportunity to unplug, reconnect with nature, and embrace a simpler way of living. Our mission was to translate that feeling into a cinematic narrative — one that captures the peace, freedom, and wonder of island life.

Shot across several days on the island, the video follows moments of quiet beauty and human connection: early-morning swims, shared meals, and barefoot adventures on white-sand beaches. We embraced natural light, organic textures, and ambient sounds to reflect the retreat’s philosophy of sustainability, mindfulness, and intentional travel.

Rather than building a promotional piece, we crafted a story — one that invites the viewer to slow down, breathe, and rediscover what truly matters. Every shot was designed to feel intimate and authentic, making the audience feel like they’re already there.

Today, the video stands as a key visual tool for Isla Experience, helping travelers around the world understand what it really means to live off-grid — not in isolation, but in deep connection with the earth, the sea, and each other.
