80TWENTY HOTEL MEDIA – Redefining Hospitality Through Cinematic Training

The 80Twenty Hotel Media project marked a creative step into the world of hospitality training, blending storytelling with service education in a way that feels human, authentic, and inspiring. In collaboration with the 80Twenty team, GoWide Studio was entrusted with producing a cinematic training video that goes beyond checklists — aiming instead to reflect the values, spirit, and emotional intelligence that shape a truly memorable guest experience.

Shot in the vibrant city of Melbourne, the production was designed to reflect the city’s personality while grounding the narrative in real moments between staff and guests. We focused on the subtle gestures that matter most: a smile at the door, attention to detail, and genuine curiosity for each interaction. The visual direction paired soft lighting and handheld motion with carefully composed dialogue, capturing a training atmosphere that is both professional and emotionally resonant.

This wasn’t just a training video — it was a branded film that breathes life into internal learning. By using actors to simulate real-world situations, we brought to light the “why” behind the “how” of hospitality, reinforcing team values through cinematic immersion.

In post-production, we emphasized clarity and warmth — allowing each scene to feel connected and approachable. The final product is now used by 80Twenty Hotel Media as a key learning asset, helping hotels foster deeper engagement, stronger service culture, and meaningful impact in every guest interaction.
